What is an Altar and How to Set up a Worship Altar

The worship altar is as powerful as the quality of worship offered on it. Altars are the most powerful and highly-contested-for point of prayer. The altar is God's dwelling place. An altar is required because it is the only sanctified place where God comes to dwell whenever He visits the earth. It is a place of consecration and dedication where God as Spirit meets with a consecrated worshipper.

Setting up an altar is the most expensive part of a worship journey.  Take a look at Elijah's worship journey, he fought many battles just to set up an altar. Look at Solomon, he sacrificed many bulls, consider David his father too. A worshipper never holds back, but makes sacrifices to set up a worship altar for the Lord in their lives.
